Who should attend? This course is aimed at people who have a responsibility for screening people entering premises and monitoring their behaviour inside. The course is suitable for people working in premises such as nightclub, bars, events and retail guarding. The BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors qualification meets the criteria set by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) thus allowing successful candidates to apply for a (SIA) Door Supervisor licence.

Security Guard

Who should attend?
The security guard training allows an individual to work in the security industry as a standard security guard. The SIA security guard license allows an individual to work in many premises; for example shopping malls, retail, construction sites, residential sites, schools, hospitals, banks etc. However security guard licence holders cannot work in regulated entertainment venues or in premises that sell alcohol. For that you need to attend a door supervisor course.

Physical Intervention Programme

Course overview
The physical intervention programme provides candidates with a wider range of non-violent options for dealing with the most common scenarios involving physical contact. It does not offer a technique to cover every possible situation, but provides a solid foundation in terms of knowledge and skills to further reduce risk to customers and staff.

Who should attend?
The most significant area of need and opportunity lies with those personnel performing licensable security functions. CCTV (PSS) Course

This nationally recognised award, spread over 4 days is an introductory course aimed at giving learners the basic job training in CCTV Operations. The course covers the key subjects recommended by the SIA enabling the learner to apply for an SIA Licence.

Who should attend?
The CCTV Operator training course allows an individual to work in the security industry as an operator of CCTV systems. The SIA CCTV Operator licence allows an individual to work with all types of CCTV systems, analogue and digital. The SIA CCTV Operator licence also allows you to manage and work in a CCTV control room.

On successful completion of the CCTV (PSS) course and passing the required practical and theory multiple choice examinations students will be able to apply for an SIA licence as a CCTV Operator.
